I have taught mathematics for over 30 years. I started my journey in the UAE as a high school math teacher. I started teaching at the college level and then spent ten years teaching at the university level. I have learned about various math subjects, including basic arithmetic, algebra, calculus, and statistics. I have also been in charge of the mathematics department at two well-known universities in the UAE. I have also conducted training sessions for new math teachers, where I helped them understand the local education system and curriculum.
My primary focus is on understanding. I think that when a student knows why something is done, it makes it easier to understand how to do it. In our sessions, we will discuss each topic one by one. I started teaching when I was in my A levels and continued it throughout my uni. Additionally, I was a peer mentor for 1st year physics students at my university. I only follow question-based learning because there’s no better way to find weak areas in the subject. But I'm adept at full-lesson type lectures too.
