MSc organic chemistry
I have a decade long experience in teaching chemistry and its related branches. I offer tutoring to local and international students who find chemistry as a difficult subject. I have specialization in organic chemistry, however I can teach other branches of chemistry as well with similar proficiency.
My main goal is to bring conceptual based learning everywhere. I don't want my students to incline towards rote learning or simply memorizing everything. If a student is studying with me, I want to make sure that they understand everything that they study and once they are taking an exam, they won't have to write down memorized stuff. Instead I want them to be able to formulate the answer in their own conceptual wording. I use different methods to incorporate the concepts in the lesson and I try nt to move to the next topic until I am sure that my student has understood the previous lesson well. I usually prefer to follow a personalized approach for each student because i don't want to impose similar teaching style on everyone.
It has been very fun and i learned a lot with Mr. Mathew. He has a very unique way of teaching and make you understand every topic very well.
Chemistry was tough and its exam was surely a nightmare for my son. I was not sure how i was going to help him prepare but Mathew helped him to be prepared very well.
