I prefer online tutoring nowadays. I specialize in teaching English vocabulary for online shopping sites and product descriptions and understanding reviews and comments. Apart from that, I've had success teaching anything from world weather systems in Geography, opinion building and writing workshops on Geo-political social issues, Discourse Analysis, Basic theories in Psychology, Business and Interview preparation in English, teaching Etymology, Syllables, and Rhyming, as well as one-on-one in-classroom teaching experience to kids and teens in South-East Asia and kindergarten teaching in Europe.
Less is more, easy beginnings to avoid overwhelming beginner or intermediate-level students. I use slides or online sites as resources and plan to use more regalia and digital resources. Most activities or classes begin with a warm-up task depending on the subject, amount of time, level of the student, and topic of the lesson, followed by discussion, opinion building, and some writing or reading practice, mainly consisting of grasping concepts more than memorizing vocabulary. I like to teach concepts and help to build their general knowledge; words are automatically remembered.
