I started working at a startup company when the Internet was just starting to become popular. It was during a time when many new companies were being created. The early years in Silicon Valley gave me a special view of how quickly technology was changing. Afterwards, I started working in academia, excited to influence and guide the upcoming generation of ICT enthusiasts. Over time, I have worked hard to combine my knowledge of the industry with an academic approach. This helps me make sure that my students are skilled in using technology and have a good understanding of theory.

After completing my PhD at the University of Mexico City, I have been working in math education for 18 years.
