I have completed my Masters in English language and literature. For the last 17 years, I have been tutoring students of all levels.
For me, learning is ongoing, and sharing knowledge and experiences on large platforms is amazing. I believe it's important to understand the child first and then use various techniques to teach them, making sure they feel comfortable and can learn effectively.

I've been teaching for 17 years, covering different levels like KS 1, 2, 3, O level, and IGCSE in Biology, Business Studies, and Economics. I studied sciences for O levels and later did my MA in Economics. Most of my students get good grades like As and A*s, with at least a B.
I aim to be friendly and approachable so students feel comfortable with me. I use different ways of teaching, like showing things visually or getting hands-on. My goal is to create a positive environment and help students become independent learners with good thinking skills. I also give them extra materials to help with studying.

I had a great experience living and studying in Florence. It was a wonderful opportunity to fully experience the beauty of the Italian language. I have been teaching and sharing my passion with students for 17 years. My trip to Italy was not only for school, but also for myself. I travelled to different places and talked to people there. I learned about their different languages and customs. I have personal experience that lets me give students a real taste of Italy, not just the language.
Language should be functional. Our lessons will simulate real-life situations you might face in Italy or while speaking with natives. You'll practice how to negotiate prices at a market, ask for recommendations, and handle everyday interactions. Role-playing these situations equips you to handle real-world Italian conversations with ease.

I've definitely improved my speaking skills, but I wish there was more emphasis on written Italian. Overall, a good experience.
