BS Accounting & Finance
I’m Afnan, and I hold a BS degree in Accounting and Finance. I’m a newbie working with a strong dedication to changing the old tutoring methods to the new interactive ones. I recently graduated from a well-known university and started tutoring finance-related subjects to O/A and MBA-level students. Over the course of 2 years, I’ve tutored over 400 students in one-on-one online sessions and more than 900 students in classroom contexts. I’ve also worked as a K-12 tutor. The reason why I chose tutoring as my career option is that this field connects me with worldwide students and further helps me explore new cultures.
I’m not that assign-homework type of tutor. I don’t like to assign homework to my students. Instead, I focus on creating an interactive learning environment so my students can work hard in the sessions and solve the problems in front of me. This allows me to keenly observe the students and highlight their learning weaknesses immediately. My lesson plans are filled with interesting and interactive activities.
