I started learning Mandarin when I took a year off after college to travel in China. I was captivated by the long history, lively cities, peaceful landscapes, and the charm of the language. This made me spend many years learning Mandarin, both spoken and written. In the last 16 years, I have been fortunate to teach at different schools and colleges. I have learned a lot about how people learn in different ways from these teaching experiences. I have helped students get ready for their A-level exams, supported adults with their professional communication, and advised travellers on how to have a great trip to China.

I’m a passionate International Baccalaureate Theory of Knowledge (TOK) tutor with more than 10 years of experience designing and delivering rigorously interactive TOK programs in both face-to-face and online sessions.
