Tutoring one on one was very enjoyable and rewarding. I used to do school teaching and home tutoring only, but the pandemic opened the doors to learning new teaching strategies. Online tutoring was quite an exciting experience for me. My students and I had fun and grew quite fond of one another. I mainly tutored primary school students privately after school and during the summer. We used to meet at their homes or the public library. I provided other necessary materials. I have taught Science, Urdu, Social Studies, History, Geography, and Religious Studies also.
My students and I utilized technology and the internet often during our sessions. During Online teaching, I mainly operated power point and digital board. Additionally, I often used technology tools such as video conferencing and interactive whiteboards, which enhanced the learning experience. I created some video lessons and shared some you-tube videos too. I also engaged students using colorful presentations, interactive games, and other exciting activities to develop a fun environment. Introducing games as a teaching strategy is an excellent way to engage students and give them a learning experience.

I’m Linh and a certified CATTI-3 (China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters) trainer who’s working in an academy for around 7 years now. With multiple tasks, I engage my students with their learning materials which helps them focus more on the learning process.
