For the past 15 years, I have been teaching history, focusing mainly on the mediaeval period in Europe. I began teaching at a well-known school in Leeds. In my career, I've worked to change the idea that mediaeval history is only about knights and castles. I have taught students about the Black Plague, Viking invasions, and Byzantine Empire, which helps them understand this time period better. I have helped many students in national history competitions, and they have done well.
Mediaeval Europe was a period of significant changes, including invasions, migrations, innovations, and trade. I want to bring this time period to life by telling stories about regular people, kings and queens, traders, and those who invaded. We often use things like maps, artefacts, and impressive buildings to better understand the details. I know that IB students face difficulties when it comes to exams. We analyse old test papers and make short but complete answers. Also, I make sure to develop a routine of regularly reviewing and promote asking a lot of questions during our sessions.
Engaging classes, but we sometimes moved too fast, especially with complex topics.
I used to dislike history because it was dull and we had to write big essays, but after switching to online learning and having Liam as my history teacher, my interest in the subject began to grow.

I initiated my teaching career in South America, assisting schools in enhancing their English curriculum. It was there that I realized the potential impact of English on bridging cultural gaps. My journey took me from schools to universities and then to private academies, focusing primarily on adult education. Over the past six years, I have also been hosting community-based English programs tailored for immigrant populations, ensuring they have the necessary language skills to integrate seamlessly.
My main goal is to make English easy to understand. To help younger students learn the basics of language, we use films and stories. When working with adults, real-life situations are very important, like how to do daily chores, prepare for job interviews, or understand local news. I have a teaching experience of 15+ years. I have been teaching mathematics since I was a student, but at that time it was only for the CBSE board. Now I take all boards like CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE(core and extended both), IB, etc.. I have always given a hundred percent results.
Tests are arranged every two or three chapters to encourage students to continue studying the material they have learned because math requires it. Every exam or paper has a discussion period following it so that students can learn from their mistakes.
