With 15 years devoted to nurturing French language skills among GSCE students, my journey has been one of continuous learning and mentorship. I am responsible for teaching classes in the French Language Department. These classes are specifically designed to align with the GSCE curriculum. I believe in being patient and adaptable in my teaching approach, recognizing that every student has their own unique journey when it comes to learning French. I focus on helping my students use their language skills effectively so they can communicate confidently in French. My lessons help students gain a better understanding and appreciation for the French-speaking world by incorporating cultural context.
My teaching approach revolves around practical application. I focus on equipping students with vocabulary and language structures they can use immediately. Through dialogues, role plays, and real-world scenarios, I aim to instill confidence in their ability to communicate effectively in French.
I had lessons two to three times a week from November until the end of December. I was a beginner in French, and by the end, I had a solid understanding of the basics. He was an excellent teacher, always understanding and adaptable to my learning needs. I really liked talking to him before classes and during breaks. If I have the chance to return to Paris, I will definitely go back for more lessons!

Zohan here! I’m a passionate and highly experienced history tutor who has also worked as a Historical Consultant and Government Historian. I’ve experienced tutoring multiple levels of students studying different curricula, i.e., IGCSE, GCSE, IB, etc. I’ve also served as an undergraduate lecturer at different universities where I conducted sessions with a focus on world political history.
