My name is Huong and I’m an award-winning Chinese tutor with over 12 years of experience. Apart from just teaching four Chinese skills to candidates of all ages, I’ve also had experience in writing research papers with a focus on corpus linguistics — identifying the process of how different dialects emerged in the Chinese language. As a research enthusiast, I’ve supervised numerous research projects. Currently, I’m working as a part-time professor at one of the best universities in Beijing — there I’m helping the undergraduate, post-graduate, and PhD level students with their course books or research papers. Both of these methods tend to focus more on active learning and are closely related to the modern’s student’s interests. The blend of these approaches keeps the students engaged throughout the sessions, helping them master the language concepts easily and quickly. Students have had to appear in the quizzes and assessments conducted on a weekly basis.
