Hi! Habiba here! I’ve been tutoring in one-on-one sessions for years. Side by side, I’m also serving as a part-time Arabic teacher in an elementary school where I teach native Arabic children with their IGCSE Arabic course books. I’ve helped numerous students in one-on-one online and face-to-face sessions with their studies, assessments, final projects, and research work.
I like to tutor Arabic with activities. My favorite approach to teaching Arabic language and Arabic courses are the student-centred approach, teacher-centred approach, constructivist tutoring approach, grammar drilling methods and behaviorist approach. The selection of these tutoring approaches entirely depends on the tutee’s learning style, pace, and requirements. I try designing the lesson plans on my own, and in some cases, I also use standard lesson plans by tweaking them a bit. My tutee’s performance record is kept in the form of an excel sheet which is shared with them on a weekly and monthly basis.
