For the past 12 years, I have enjoyed helping students understand the complex grammar of the Italian language, appreciate its musicality, and enjoy its expressive nature.I have also conducted workshops on translation, where I showed how we can express meaning in different languages while keeping the cultural significance intact.
I think immersion is important. Italian language has a unique essence that can be felt in its everyday usage, literature, and art. In my classes, students are encouraged to fully engage themselves. This includes having conversations, reading parts of famous Italian books, and even translating well-known songs.I focus on understanding rather than memorization. I make sure my students can use what they learn in real life, like when they go to Italy or watch an Italian film without subtitles.
Ms. Blanchet's sessions are an eye-opener. The translation exercises she provides have notably improved my understanding and appreciation of the Italian language. Wonderful teacher. Patient and easy to work with. I would suggest this class to anyone who wants to learn Italian in a fun and friendly setting:)
She's kind, clear, and always ready for class. The time goes by really quickly when she teaches this way. I'm happy with the three hours a week I work now. Also, it was nice of her to be flexible when I had to stop a lesson. I would definitely recommend it!.
I suggest Eva because she is a fun, well-trained teacher who wants me to get better at Italian. The lessons are both fun and well-planned, which makes the time we spend together very useful. I have tried many other ways to improve my Italian, but I think that spending time with Eva is by far the best way to make quick progress in all areas: speaking, writing, and understanding. All of these are important for everyday life.
